Initiating Positive Futures

Conflict mediation, resolution, and training for the community

View Our Services
Catalyst IpF (Initiating Positive Futures) is a comprehensive conflict resolution and training service for community individuals, organizations, families, and businesses. Our goal is to provide conflict resolution skills that empower our clients to improve the quality of their lives, relationships, and businesses.

Conflict is ever-present in our lives and can be a disruptive force if not properly addressed. However, conflict can also bring positive aspects. Catalyst IpF is made up of a group of trained and experienced practitioners who are dedicated to assisting individuals to explore the positive aspects of conflict and minimize its negative effects.

Catalyst IpF trains mediators primarily using the Transformative Approach, preparing them for certification by the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation. As a "starfish organization," we rely on the power of peer relationships and believe in building team members to go and replicate the work of Catalyst in their own conflict resolution endeavors.

Catalyst IpF is considered a "fair profit" for-profit community organization. Our model is designed to keep service costs negotiable and affordable; we charge people/parties according to what they are able and willing to invest, and all fees are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. We also provide opportunities for pro bono services, depending on circumstances.
All of our conflict resolution services are offered either in-person or online, using Skype, Google Hangouts, and other compatible web-based platforms. Our web-based options allow us to serve clients around the globe.
